Terms & conditions

Last updated: 19th June 2026

These terms and conditions govern the coaching services, facility use, and bookings provided by Jack Kempton Golf (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking a lesson, session, or any service with us, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

  1. About us

Jack Kempton Golf is a golf coaching service based in Southampton, providing private and group lessons, on-course coaching, fitness and conditioning guidance, junior programmes, club fitting, and related services. You can contact us on 02382 449651 or by email at jack@jackkemptongolf.com.

  1. Bookings and payment

A booking is confirmed once you have reserved a session and made any payment we request at the time of booking. Prices for lessons, packages, and fittings are as quoted to you or displayed at the time of booking. Payment terms — including any deposit, full payment in advance, or block-booking arrangement — will be made clear when you book.

  1. Cancellations and rescheduling

If you need to cancel or rearrange a session, please give us at least 48 hours notice. Cancellations made with less notice, or missed sessions where you do not attend, may be charged in full or may result in the loss of that session from a package.

If we need to cancel or reschedule a session — for example due to illness, facility issues, or circumstances beyond our control — we will offer you an alternative time or a refund for that session.

  1. Refunds and your cancellation rights

Where you book a service online or remotely, you may have a legal right to cancel within 14 days under UK consumer law. However, if you ask us to begin coaching within that period and the service is then fully provided, your right to cancel ends. Where a service has been partly provided, any refund may be reduced to reflect what has already been delivered. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Gift vouchers, where offered, are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and are non-refundable and non-transferable unless stated otherwise.

  1. Lessons, facilities and equipment

We provide coaching at our training facility, which includes a golf simulator, as well as on-course where arranged. We provide clubs and balls for use during sessions, though you are welcome to bring your own equipment. You are responsible for using all equipment and facilities with reasonable care, and for any loss or damage caused by misuse.

Please arrive on time for your session. Sessions that start late due to your late arrival will still end at the scheduled time.

  1. Junior participants (under 18)

Bookings for anyone under the age of 18 must be made by a parent or legal guardian, who confirms they have authority to enter into these terms on the child’s behalf. A parent or guardian remains responsible for their child before and after the coaching session and should ensure they are dropped off and collected promptly. Please inform us in advance of any medical condition, disability, or specific need relevant to your child’s participation.

  1. Health, fitness and participation

Golf coaching and fitness work involve physical activity. By taking part, you confirm that you are physically fit to participate and that you have told us about any medical condition, injury, or limitation that may affect your ability to take part safely. You take part in all activities voluntarily.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under the law of England and Wales. Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, and our total liability in connection with any service is limited to the amount you paid for that service.

  1. Photography and media

From time to time we may take photographs or video during sessions for use on our website and social media. If you (or your child) do not wish to appear in any such content, please let us know and we will respect that request. We will always obtain a parent or guardian’s consent before using any image featuring a child.

  1. Your privacy

We handle your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and how we use it.

  1. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this page at the time you make your booking.

  1. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
